I know that I've been absent from this blog for a little while. I'm sorry. I have a good reason though. I have been busy working on starting a little business for fun and taking care of our sweet Little Sprouts.
Here is a little of what we have been up to in February:
We built shelves in our Powder Room, but I still have to finish them off...yup, I know.
We celebrated Joel's 26th Birthday and Mr. Magoo learned to sing Happy Birthday.
Mr. Man's hours were cut back to 36 hours a week, we definitely are thankful that he still has a job, we are enjoying him home, but looking forward to normal hours again D.V.
We enjoyed watching our boys grow, learn and become better friends.
Here is a little of what we have been up to in March:
March started off this a busy B-A-N-G! Uncle M and Aunt K came down for a weekend and babysat Dr. B while Mr. Man and I took our excited Mr. Magoo to Monster Jam. (he Christmas present which he LOVED and asks every single day to go again!) We had our young couples group (10 couples) over for a couples version of Minute to Win It and had a great time. We are definitely doing this again.
We took the boys to a Reptile Zoo. Mr. MaGoo was so fun to watch petting snakes, lizards and alligators (Yup - Mommy didn't dare).
We unfortunately caught an awful flu bug that wiped Dr. B, Mr. MaGoo and I completely off our feet for two and a half days! Thankfully Mr. Man got only a light flu and was a great help.
I celebrated my 26th birthday with my boys and the flu.
Mr. Man worked a little more on the deck and the boys enjoyed one warmer day on their swing set.
Mr. Man and I started working on building our Little Sprouts hanging bunk beds and finally getting to decorating their room.
So what is ahead in April and May for us?
The Lord Willing it will involve finishing up many projects that we have been waiting for warmer weather to do, more planning and preparation for my sisters wedding, outside spring clean up (I can't wait for this), many walks with the Little Sprouts and hopefully normal hours for Mr. Man once again.
We definitely have many things to be thankful for in the past two months. Our Heavenly Father has blessed us with a roof over our heads, food on our table and clothing on our backs. He has blessed us with health and healing, a great marriage built on Christ as the solid foundation, Little Sprouts that bring laughter, love, endless questions/chatter, teach patience, and daily show us our need for Christ. We definitely serve an AWESOME God who has everything in His control - Praise the Lord!
I have also joined Facebook again - but not to have a personal wall. So if I decline your friend request, I am not trying to be rude, I just have chosen not to use the personal part of FB and only use it for my little business. I hope that you can understand.
That is it for now - I have some work to do - and then I will have some pictures to post :)

Making a Bigger and Better Train Table
Mr. Man purchased a 4x8 piece of plain MDF board and started using our track and building that we purcahsed off of Kijiji to make a track for the Little Sprouts!
Then a nice coat of primer, a couple of bottles of acrylic craft paint and a the watchful eye of G-Man
we accomplished this...
Mr. Man screwed down the outer track so that B-Man couldn't pull the track off the table.
Now our Little Sprouts spend hours and hours each day pushing their trains along the track, picking up cargo and filling up with water at the station.
Worth the Kijiji Thomas Track purchase, the $20 MDF board and the $5 of acrylic craft paint thousands of times over.
B-Man is ONE
A year really goes by fast! In the end of December our premie who was 6.2 weeks early turned ONE! He has definitely done very well! We are beyond thankful to our Heavenly Father who blessed him with health and great growth!
At 1 year B-Man is

Our Christmas
We celebrated our Christmas on the Morning of Chirstmas Eve.
B-Man once again enjoyed playing with his wrapping paper rather than this gift.
G-Man loved his Cranky and motorized James.
After they finished opening their gifts, we packed them up and headed to the shopping area and picked up some items to make them a bigger train table so there would be no space disagreements :)
Christmas with Gramps and Nana
The weekend before Christmas (and the weekend of the horrible ice storm!) we celebrated Christmas with Gramps, Nana, my siblings and their families.
As usual, our children were spoiled with cousin time, grandparent time, and gifts.
Nana helped B-Man open his gifts but he was more intent on chewing on his old toys.
"LOOK DADDY! WOW CARS!"
We had a wonderful dinner, which was unfortunately cut short by the weather.
Thanks Dad & Mom for hosting a wonderful family Christmas!

G-Man's snowman - a couple weeks ago...
G-Man LOVES to play outside and loves to paint. So, we put B-man down for his afternoon nap and headed outside to enjoy the packing snow. G-Man helped roll the snowman's SMALL - MEDIUM & LARGE balls and then helped make him come to life!

What the Little Sprouts do daily...

'common the 4cup glass bowl is light!
Playing this the wooden trains…okay the ATV's...
G-Man plays with his trains daily!
Traveling through Knapford Station
G-Man also loves to watch the extreme crazy sports on Netflix!
Playing with his BIG Burder trucks…he can't wait to play with them outside and in the sandbox (neither can Mommy :)!)

Life #2
G-Man has recently found out why Reddiwip in a can is so much fun! He likes to push a chair up to the fridge and help himself to the can and then bring it to one of us to get his mouth filled.
Poor little B-Man wasn't feeling very well last week. He definitely took advantage of this and snuggled with Mr. Man as much as possible!

Miss Dolly's Diaper Bag & TrainMaster G-Man's Train/Racecar Tote
Recently a SIL asked me to make a diaper bag for her girl for Christmas. I looked online and found a pattern that I changed a little to make a little larger and added a bottle pocket.
I couldn't stop with "just" a diaper bag, so I made Miss Dolly a couple diapers lined with minky. This had G-Man asking "Mommy make ME diapers?"
Then I made Miss Dolly two bibs and a Miss Dolly sized receiving blanket.
And well - a diaper bag isn't completely packed without at least one toy, so a doll sized tag blanket was added.
When I was finished I was really hoping that I could become a little girl and play again. I still remember my parent's buying my sister and I a real baby diaper bag for big "Jessica Doll" and a package of real diapers to put on those life size dolls. That being said the doll is about the size of my 12 month old B-Man!
G-Man was bummed when he was told it was for his cousin. So what did Mommy do? Yup, dig through my fabric stash and find the rare boy "okay" fabric and make him one.
"Daddy look! George! Daddy for me!"-G-Man
I had so much fun I couldn't stop and am making one for each of my neices to give to them for their birthdays in Spring and a set for Gramps and Nana's Playroom :)!
Oh - I guess I better make one for B-Man too :)

LIfe
G-Man enjoys lining up his toys. He lines up toys and then goes to playwith something else - but always making sure that B-Man isn't touching his line up of toys. Which of course is the thing B-Man loves to do the most!
Finally after 9 months in our house - I managed to put the handles on our mud/laundry room cabinets. I was quiet proud of myself fo doing it without Mr. Man's help :)
Mr. Man spoiled me with roses the other day :) I do love the man I married. He is an amazing Husband and Daddy!
Sunday's Art
G-Man LOVES art. Whether it be painting, colouring or playing with play-doh.
On Sunday's, when we are both around to keep an eye on where that paint bush goes, he gets to paint. We made egg-carton catapillars and played with googly eyes.
Mr. Man had to paint G-Man which he of course thought was great...
…and then had to paint himself.
Needless to say he needed a bath after this activity!
He also found that he enjoys using both hands…
We enjoy art time too!
Putting Up the Tree
The first weekend in December we set up our Tree. G-Man stayed up and helped!
We bought a big, sparkle snow-flake for the top of the tree.
Dug out our Christmas ornaments from two years ago and enjoyed decorating our tree.
Someone was full of energy!
"Mommy no more"
It was fun building traditions with our G-Man. He enjoyed it and so did we. Now we have a pretty tree's lights sparkling every night and it makes with cold nights feel cozy!
*the bottom of our tree lacks decorations…yes - a one year old will make that happen!*
